I haven’t yet found proof of the part that my King ancestors may have played in the events that took place during this critical time period in our country’s history, I would like to share some of the documents that I have found thus far.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t I was researching tax lists from Revolutionary-era period in Pennsylvania on Ancestry.com.<\/a> I came cross these tax document for Michael King<\/a> in Milford Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\tIn 1781 Michael is listed on the same tax list as his father Phillip and Michael is listed with the following tax In 1782 Michael is again listed on the same tax list as his father Phillip. They are listed as Non-resident and Michael is listed with the following tax<\/p>\nTaxes<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pound\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Shillings\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pence<\/strong> In 1785 Michael is again listed on the same tax list as his father Phillip.
