\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\tTom Orlando McKenzie (February 13, 1960 – November 6, 2014)\n\t

Every Father’s Day is special. A day to show your father how much you care. This year is very tough for me because this is the first Father’s Day that my dad Tom McKenzie<\/a> will be spending in heaven.<\/p>\n

There are no real words to express the feeling of how much I miss the amazing man that I call dad. He was strong, warm, funny, stubborn and kind. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had this wonderful ability to make others smile and laugh. He did so much for me and expected so little in return. I will be forever grateful for the man he was and the woman he helped me to become. I found this poem that describes my feelings well.<\/p>\n

I hope that he knows how much I respect and love him. Life will never be quite the same, there will forever be a piece of my heart missing.<\/p>\n\t\nDaddy, you’re in heaven now,
\nThat’s not supposed to be…
\nOn this special father’s day
\nYou are usually here with me.
\nThis is the first time to celebrate
\nYour day without you near
\nBut I still want to celebrate
\nThe father you were
\nWhen you were here.
\nI can’t imagine Father’s day
\nIn heaven up above,
\nAll the daddies gone from earth
\nSurrounded with HIS love.
\nMy love for you will never fade
\nThe memories I’ll hold dear.
\nYou will always be my daddy,
\nAnd I your little girl.
\nYour time on earth as my dad is over
\nBut someday we will meet in heaven brand new!!!
\nWith our Father you now celebrate
\nThe love he has given you.
\nDaddy, I’ll always love you,
\nThank you for being you!\n
