Albert E. Stonerock, 85, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Tendercare - Alpena.
He was born in Alma on November 15, 1925 to the late Orville Stonerock and Mary (Wrisley) Stonerock and married Grace Royer on November 30, 1980. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2000. Mr. Stonerock retired from Dow Chemical in Midland in 1987. He enjoyed his time at Tendercare playing Bingo and bowling.
Surviving were 3 children Mildred, Frank, Robert all of Alma, 2 stepsons Albert (Judi) Royer of Alpena, Thomas (Debbie) Royer of Kalamazoo; 4 stepdaughters, Gloria (Dan) Adams of Ohio, Donna (Robert) Lorenz of North Carolina, Vera (Rick) Riedesel of Florida, Linda (Anthony) Szymanski of Alpena; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Vernon (Maryann) Stonerock; 3 sisters, Flossie Gonzales, Hazel (Frank) Kreiling and Margaret Fetters.
Mr. Stonerock was preceded in death by a stepson Joseph, 2 sisters, Glenna Stonerock, Ruby Fetters, 2 brothers Francis Stonerock and Willis Stonerock and an infant brother.
