This Indenture, made the Third day of August in the year of our lord one thousand eight hindered and eighty between Charles Hawley and Franklin D. Hawley of the township of Wilson Alpena County Michigan
being two of the heir at law of Mercy Hawley late of the township of Long Rapids Alpena County Michigan deceased and during her lifetime wife of William Hawley of the first part and Minnie Bell Hawley of the township of Alpena Alpena County Michigan
of the second part, witnesseth, that he said parties of the first partm for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar to them in hand, paid by the said party of the second part, the recipt wherof is hearby confessed and acknowledged, do by these presents, grant, bargain, sell, remise, release and forever quit-claim
unto the second party and to her heirs and assigns, forever, all that certain piece or parcel of land situated and being in the township of Long Rapids in the County of Alpena and State of Michigan and described as follows to wit that part of lot no 8 in sec no 31 in township thirty two (32) north of range seven (7) east
Lying east of a line commencing forty(40) rods east of S.W. corner of said lot and running thence due north to the boundary of said lot on Thunderbay river containing five (5) acre more or less. Being the same land deeded to Mercy Hawley during her lifetime by warranty deed from James A. case and wife dated February 2nd 1869 and recorded in liber E of Deeds page 317
January 9th 1869 as appears of record in the office of the register of deeds in and for the county of Alpena. It being the intentions of the said Charles and Franklin D. Hawley to convey
and quit-claim all their right with and interest as heirs at law of Mercy Hawley of in adn to the above described ladn to said Minnie Bell Hawley
