  	Aunt Susie Obituary: Our dear Aunt, Cousin and friend Susan M. Brock passed away peacefully June 20, 2016 at War Memorial Hospital's Long Term Unit in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Susan was born in October of 1934 on Sugar Island, Michigan to Frank Brock and Annie (Watchorn) Brock. Susan worked very hard her entire life, starting as a child on the family farm on Sugar Island. She later worked as a motel/Hotel maid at many area businesses until her retirement. Susie (as we lovingly called her) took great pride in her work and made sure each room was meticulously clean and welcoming, which was the same way she kept her home. Since her retirement, her health quickly deteriorated due to osteoporosis. She was an amazing and very independent woman, who never wanted to ask anyone for help with anything. She always took great pride and care with her appearance also. From the very early morning, Susie always looked beautiful from her hair to her shoes. Susie was the last remaining child of Frank and Annie Brock's 5 children. Robert and Donald Brock, Grace Royer/Stonerock and June Bateson/Norman all preceded her in death. Susie had a very close "Motherly" relationship with all of her nieces of nephews. Gloria, Donna, Vera, Linda, Albert, the late Joseph, Tommy and Robbie. And an especially close bond with her Great great niece Kylimry. Susie's parents, herself and 4 siblings all had a very strong and personal relationship with our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ and worshiped and praised him, not only on Sunday but everyday of their lives. They are now all joined together once again in their heavenly home. Susie will be greatly missed for her loving, nurturing nature and sense of humor. There will be a graveside service for Susan M. Brock Saturday, August 6th at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery on M-28 and 6 mile road in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with Susan's loving niece, Linda Royer/Szymanski officiating. Susan will be laid to rest next to her Mother, Annie Brock-Pattison and step-father Henry Pattison. A dutch treat lunch will follow the service at Stusebaker's restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie. Memorials may be left to the Salvation Army of Soo, Michigan, The Soo Community Action Agency or Hospice of Chippewa County in her name
