Tract or Parcel of Land situated in Town of Caneadea Countyof Allegany and State of New York being a part of lot number thirteen in Township five range first of the Holland Company land bounded as follows via beginning at the southmost corner of said lot thence east twelve chains and sixty five links to the centre of the highway thence north 37 ¾ degrees west two chains and sixty three links along the center of said highway thence north seventy one degrees west eleven chains and forty eight links to the west line of said lot thence south five chains and twenty five links to the place of beginning containing three acres and ninety-nine hundredths of an acre be the same more or less
 
Excepting a mortgage in favor of George P. Ketchum for Sixty dollars and seventy cents dated at Caneadea June Twenty ninth 1853
